1. PURPOSE

SPEAXA is committed to creating a safe, respectful, inclusive and academically enriching learning environment.

This Policy establishes the standards of behaviour expected from every person using the SPEAXA Platform.

These Guidelines apply equally to:

3. RESPECTFUL BEHAVIOUR

Users shall:

Treat everyone with dignity and respect.

Listen without interruption.

Encourage healthy discussions.

Maintain professional language.

Support an inclusive learning environment.

Users shall not:

Abuse others.

Ridicule fellow learners.

Threaten anyone.

Humiliate participants.

Intimidate teachers.

Harass students.

Use discriminatory language.

4. DIGITAL CLASSROOM ETIQUETTE

Students should:

Join classes on time.

Use their registered name.

Keep required learning materials ready.

Participate actively.

Ask questions respectfully.

Follow teacher instructions.

Avoid unnecessary interruptions.

Teachers should:

Begin classes punctually.

Maintain professionalism.

Encourage participation.

Create an engaging learning environment.

Treat every student fairly.

Complete scheduled sessions responsibly.

5. CAMERA & MICROPHONE ETIQUETTE

Participants should:

Keep microphones muted when not speaking.

Use cameras appropriately when requested.

Avoid distracting backgrounds where possible.

Minimise background noise.

Dress appropriately for live classes.

Attend classes from a reasonably suitable learning environment whenever practicable.

6. CHAT & DISCUSSION RULES

Chat facilities are intended for educational purposes.

Users shall not post:

Abusive language.

Personal attacks.

Spam.

Advertisements.

Political propaganda.

Religious propaganda.

Hate speech.

Obscene material.

False information.

Malicious links.

Unauthorised promotional content.

7. ACADEMIC HONESTY

Students shall:

Submit original work.

Cite sources where appropriate.

Complete assessments honestly.

Avoid cheating.

Avoid impersonation.

Follow examination instructions.

Academic misconduct includes:

Copying assignments.

Plagiarism.

Using another person's identity.

Sharing examination answers.

Obtaining unfair assistance.

Manipulating academic records.

SPEAXA may impose academic or disciplinary consequences for proven misconduct.

8. RESPONSIBLE USE OF AI TOOLS

SPEAXA recognises that AI tools can support learning when used responsibly.

Users may use AI for:

Understanding concepts.

Brainstorming ideas.

Language improvement.

Practice questions.

Learning support.

Users shall not use AI to:

Misrepresent AI-generated work as entirely their own where originality is required.

Cheat during assessments.

Generate fraudulent assignments.

Circumvent academic evaluation.

Mislead teachers regarding authorship.

Teachers may require students to explain or defend submitted work as part of the learning process.

9. RESPECT FOR TEACHERS

Students and parents shall:

Maintain respectful communication.

Avoid abusive language.

Avoid threatening behaviour.

Raise academic concerns professionally.

Respect teaching time.

Teachers are entitled to work in a respectful environment free from harassment or intimidation.

10. RESPECT FOR STUDENTS

Teachers shall:

Treat every student fairly.

Avoid discrimination.

Maintain confidentiality.

Encourage participation.

Provide constructive feedback.

Respect individual learning differences.

11. PARENT PARTICIPATION

Parents are valuable partners in education.

Parents are encouraged to:

Monitor student progress.

Encourage attendance.

Support homework completion.

Communicate respectfully with teachers.

Use official communication channels.

Parents shall not:

Interrupt live teaching sessions.

Instruct teachers during class.

Harass faculty members.

Contact teachers through unauthorised personal channels regarding routine academic matters.

12. ANTI-BULLYING POLICY

SPEAXA maintains zero tolerance towards:

Bullying.

Cyberbullying.

Social exclusion.

Threats.

Harassment.

Discrimination.

Public humiliation.

Personal attacks.

Verified incidents may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of access.

13. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

Users shall not:

Record classes without permission.

Share class recordings.

Share meeting credentials.

Upload viruses or malicious software.

Attempt unauthorised access.

Reverse engineer the Platform.

Misuse another person's account.

Interfere with platform operations.

Circumvent security measures.

Use SPEAXA for unlawful purposes.

14. SOCIAL MEDIA CONDUCT

Users shall exercise responsibility when referring to SPEAXA online.

Users shall not:

Publish confidential information.

Misrepresent SPEAXA.

Share internal documents without authorisation.

Defame teachers, students or staff.

Publish misleading information regarding the Platform.

Nothing in this Policy is intended to prevent lawful expression of opinions or rights protected under applicable law.

15. PRIVACY OF OTHERS

Users shall respect the privacy of all participants.

Accordingly, users shall not:

Publish another person's contact details.

Share screenshots without permission.

Disclose private conversations.

Share personal academic records of others.

Upload another person's photograph without appropriate authorisation.

16. DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS

Depending upon the seriousness of a violation, SPEAXA may:

Issue a warning.

Remove inappropriate content.

Restrict access to certain features.

Suspend an account.

Terminate access.

Cancel participation in programmes.

Report unlawful activities to competent authorities where required.

Disciplinary measures will generally be proportionate to the nature and severity of the conduct.

17. REPORTING MISCONDUCT

Users are encouraged to report:

Bullying.

Harassment.

Academic dishonesty.

Privacy violations.

Technical abuse.

Fake accounts.

Security concerns.

Any conduct that threatens the safety or integrity of the learning environment.

Reports should be made through SPEAXA's official grievance or support channels.

18. FAIR ENFORCEMENT

SPEAXA aims to enforce these Guidelines fairly and consistently.

Before taking significant disciplinary action, SPEAXA may, where appropriate:

Review relevant information.

Seek clarification from the parties involved.

Consider the seriousness and context of the incident.

Take action proportionate to the circumstances.

Immediate action may be taken where necessary to protect users or the Platform.

19. POLICY MODIFICATION

SPEAXA may update these Community Guidelines to reflect:

Educational best practices.

Platform enhancements.

Security requirements.

Changes in law.

Operational needs.

Updated versions become effective upon publication unless otherwise required by law.

20. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

By accessing or using the SPEAXA Platform:

Users agree to comply with these Community Guidelines.

Parents agree to support respectful participation by their children.

Teachers agree to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.

All participants acknowledge that maintaining a positive learning environment is a shared responsibility.
